Insomnia is quite a common Complaint. It is possible to “cure” insomnia with medication, but most people would rather stop insomnia and get a good night’s sleep naturally.
What causes insomnia?
A great deal of the time insomnia or sleeplessness is caused by patterns of thinking.
Ruminating over a problem or going over and over the events of the day, worrying or being overwhelmed by one’s own thoughts….habituated patterns of thinking resulting in unwanted feelings and insomnia. Racing thoughts contribute to sleeplessness or insomnia. Pain and medication contribute to insomnia.
Others lie awake for long periods of time before falling asleep for only a short time. Trying too hard to force sleep does not work well either. Using various stimulants during the day contributes to lack of sleep as well as habitual intake of over the counter sleep aids. Waking up in the middle of the night and being unable to go back to sleep Is a symptom of insomnia. When we sleep we heal our bodies and brains. So sleep is vital for good health. You can stop insomnia, sleep well and continuously through the night.
Establishing the insomnia pattern
Once a person has experienced the insomnia way of thinking a few times it becomes a pattern. The patterns of thinking and feeling become automated. An unconscious behavior is in place maintaining the habit of insomnia. Often the individual will say things like this—–“I can’t sleep, I know I won’t sleep tonight. I don’t sleep well.” So without thinking, they are programming their neurology for insomnia and depriving themselves of a pleasant and comfortable night’s sleep.

How long will take?
On an average it takes 2 to 3 one hour sessions to stop insomnia and sleep well.
